Quick Help Note - QUICK ADDRESS BAR
The “Quick Address Bar” (QAB) is something unique to MyFav. Most pages are found via a search engine ie Google etc. But often a specific web address needs to be entered. An example of this is the Computer Active magazine often supplies their special pages with an address of http://www.snipca.com/xxxxx where xxxx is a 5 digit number. You would normally enter this in the Address Bar shown as “A” below. A lot of browsers allow just www.xxx.com but this does not include https (secure) etc or m. Sites (mobile). The QAB has the http:// and .com already entered for you, so in the Computer Active example you can simply enter snipca and the xxxxx number and hit ‘GO!’ as in the lower red box.

The major advantages are-
A) Much quicker to enter
B) Can be zoomed on most browsers.
C) http:// is the default but a drop down allows most alternatives
D) .com is the default but the drop down gives the majority or altenative TLDs (Top Level Domain ie. .co.uk .net etc)
